Colleen's Thoughts

As I mentioned in my comment some surprises here but the biggest surprise of all to me is how similar the Drews and Colleens ended up in some categories. We seemed to differ in opinion a fair amount of times this year and I was surprised that it didn't translate into our nominations that way. Perhaps the winners will make up for this.

I was happy to see 4 out of my 5 best picture noms in Drew's noms. Trotsky and Carlos should have got love at all the awards but I am at least glad they showed up here. No surprise about That Evening Sun. Drew adored that film. Also, no one should be surprised by the C. Reily nom as we all knew that was coming....more commentary to come

Wow, I will comment more later but there are some surprises here. Mostly good ones, I would say. I'm shocked by how similar a few of the categories in Drew's and the Colleen's will be.
